The day’s topic was discipline; and the children participated in sharing what they understand by the term "discipline". They also listed their rules and regulations that they know. They shared what they think are the accepted punishments and why they should be punished. They got to learn more about what a disciplined child looks like just from appearance to behavior and what an undisciplined child looks like and their behavior.
She also conducted a brainstorming session where the children shared what is expected of them regarding discipline.
The main term she emphasized was; "Be in the right place, at the right time, with the right people and with a right motive"; as a reminder to the children and staff, we hope that this will be among the writings that will be written and placed on the school compound.
Mrs. Ssuubi also agreed with the children that they will be one another's keeper to ensure proper discipline among the children.
The counseling session was an engaged and a lively one.
