The team from Mavuno introduced themselves to the children and then entertained the children in games. It was joy and laughter as the visitors entertained the children; they played charades and Chinese whispers. The visitors acted out birds and mammals and the children brilliantly guessed the answers. The objectives of the games were to know the different kinds of animals/birds and to always be faithful to elders respectively.
Immaculate explained to the children the importance of a library, some of which included; for research, gain more knowledge and acquire more reading skills. She encouraged the children to make use of the books that will be in the school library. The Cell group then officially handed over the book shelves to the school; Immaculate and Simon represented Mavuno Cloud 9 cell group while Charles presented Wells of Hope Junior School.
At the moment, the shelves and the books are in the staff-room. We are praying for a separate building where the shelves and books will be put so that the children can easily access them and read from there.
