She shared with the children about discipline even when they are at school during holidays and also in class. She encouraged them to always know that we, at Wells of Hope love them and they need to know that they are so special to God and to us who are taking care of them.
She noted that their discipline has generally improved.
She also encouraged the children to always open up to someone about what is going on in their lives and not to keep to themselves.
The Highlight of the day was a recitation of the Wells of Hope poem by some of the Children which greatly impressed her. Mary Namugula, a pupil at the Academy made her day as she recited her part so well and yet she had been stammering and could hardly speak English fluently.
The counseling session ended with the children promising to improve in their studies and behaving well with their fellow children, teachers and non-teaching staff.
