On arrival at the school, the Guests that is, Alison A Kwezi, Gabriel Ochan, Daniel Biyinzika and Peter Gackenbach were welcomed by the Headmistress, Teacher Sharon and Teacher Francis who were earlier on equipped with skills to teach the seventeen Bible stories to the children at the academy.
The guests started off with the group of children in primary three and two who attempted the questions about the Bible. The results which were obtained from the testing questions guided in choosing a test group of thirteen children and they (the results) showed only one child below a threshold while the rest depicted a high level of literacy.
Since the target group of the assessment was those below the threshold that is, those who cannot interpret the Bible stories and tell them to others, the Guests saw no need to interview the Primary five and Four Pupils basing on the assumption that if those in lower primary were good then those in Upper Primary are better.
Alison Kwezi, the leader of the group from One Hope commended the staff at the Academy for the good work. She gave five huge pieces of chalk, a flash disk and a box of the Seventeen Stories in the Bible to the headmistress. She said that one of the colleagues will be going back to the Academy follow up on the thirteen Pupils who were selected to assess their improvement in narrating the seventeen stories and have lengthy talk with teacher Sharon and Francis who are to train the children as far as the seventeen Bible stories are concerned.
