Dear
lovely sister

We picked an
old note my sister Catherine wrote to my wife a year ago,it was
accompanying a little gift she gave her, I will not re-write it
all but pick out something that touched me most.
Dear lovely sister Ellen,
I have given you this, I really appreciate that Love you show and
above all chose to share your life with Francis my young brother.
I know you have covered the gaps in his life. Thank you a lot.
My mind went on to entertain a few thoughts about unexpected gifts,
words of encouragement and appreciation, this little note has just
survived the dust bin and God has used it to refresh our lives.
Indeed God has used my wife to cover gaps in my life (some being
unspeakable gaps), as you know we intend to forget where we came
from, but this little note enabled me to think of the days when
I was single(un married), thank God for my wife and life ,like a
jig saw puzzle through our marriage my life’s picture was
completed-indeed she was the missing rib. In all that my understandings
of God also has shoot up and every day there is a new story to appreciate
and learn.
Just a question for us, do we ever stop to thank and encourage
someone along the way? And how often do we look back and thank God
for what He has done in the past.
If you have a gap in your life, we are praying that God uses any
one or situation to cover it.
Psalms 103:2 bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his
benefits:
