For I was hungry, and you gave food: I was thirsty, and you gave drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in Prison, and you came unto me” Matthew 25; 35-36 KJ2000

FayeWe had a concert, which served as a launch of the freedom homes project, 2006 Action plan and fundraising for our outreaches. We dubbed it FAYE 2005,it took place on the 27th November 2005 at Full Gospel Church-Makerere, Main Auditorium. Thi was in the afternoon hours from 3: 00pm to 6.00pm.Full Gospel Makerere is located just adjacent Makerere University in the Kampala,Uganda.
The gospel Artists who volunteered to particiapte in this concert included Bugembe Wilson,Jimmy Kawalya ,Pastor Dan Rugaju and Grace Morgan.We could not have Judith Babirye ,Betty Namaganda Senyonga ,and Hahaha the Christian Comedy group who had ealrlier indicated that they would perform..Judith Babirye and Hahaha the Christian Comedy came at the end of the show when we were winding up the whole event and there was no time.Betty Namaganda Senyonga did not show up.

Bugembe Wilson, commonly known for his famous song, Wandibadde Muffu, sinza katonda (it’s a luganda phrase meaning, you could be dead, simply praise the Lord God)
He is a former street boy, the Lord saved him, after languishing on the street of Kampala, Uganda, and he used feed in dustbins and sleep under trees. He sings so much about this in his song yellow, derived from the nickname he had when he was still on the street. Because he used to wear a yellow T-Shirt he used to put on .He has recently launched another Album, called Samson, God has lifted him up, and now he is a pastor of Light The world Church and he also heads an orphanage called God ‘s Generals in Nansana, one of Kampala city suburbs.
We believe he is going to be a great blessing during the concert

Grace Morgan, is one of the gifted youth, Uganda has. He is endowed with a deep voice, which he really manipulates to produce, beautiful melodies. He says that, Singing has been his thing since he was young; no one really inspired him to sing. He has a place in Uganda’s Gospel Music circles, having released two albums so far, the first was Mulemeleko, in Luganda, local dialect, it means Stick on Jesus, do not give up, that is what he inspires his fellow brethren to do and the second one is Akuwembejja,(in Luganda, a local dialect,it means He Cares for you)He prays with Glory of Christ Church in Kasubi, a suburb of Kampala City-Uganda. You find his CDs and tapes at X-Zone international

Brain, an ex-prisoner gave us a testimony-He told us his experience in prison and in the ministry. It was an opportunity for us to know how he met Jesus Christ having been in jail and the bush for ten years. He Testimony was so touching , and it left many people asking a lot of questions,it was inspiring..

It is a privilege and a divine blessing to having hosted, the Minister of Ethics and integrity,Hon. Tim Lwanga ,as the guest of honor on this maiden prestigious occasion, FAYE 2005.
Hon Tim is also the Honourable member of parliament for Kyamuswa County,Kalangala District, Located on Ssese Island, lake Victoria, the world second largest water body.

He commended the efforts of wells of Hope and he launched the ministry officially

You may wonder why we dubbed this concert FAYE 2005; there is a story to it, if you can take some time to read.
On February 3rd of 1998, the State of Texas executed Karla Faye Tucker Brown for her part in 2 extremely brutal murders committed in June 1983. A few facts about Faye are;
· Faye was a woman.
· Faye was the first woman executed by Texas since the 1860's
· Faye was a born-again Christian
She worked with in-mates and preached love and forgiveness. She had a very big influence on the in-mates. Many of whom turned their lives around. A full story about her can be found on our websites under inspirations.
Faye is in no way part of this event but we have dubbed the concert FAYE 2006 from her name just for the inspiration she is, especially in the ministry to people in prison among others.
