Violet is eight(8) years old at wells hope academy, she is a compassion girl, which is reflected in the way she treats her friends, she likes to play with friends and she loves pink color so much, she also likes bread and passion juice. She is glad she got shows, clothes and scholastic material at the academy. She also loves her teachers.

Her mother is serving a long term sentence in luzira prison, her father remarried and does not take care of her and her siblings, and she used to stay with her grandmother before she came to Wells of Hope

Henry 11, is a gentle boy in primary four, he is very social and compassionate .he wants to be an Engineer when he grows up, visiting his father in prison is his greatest highlight, he is cooperative and hardworking, he helps his mother in her small retail shop so that she can be able to support him and his three siblings.

He’s father is on death row and is HIV+ .His mother remarried but unfortunately now a widow. She stays in a one roomed house with her four siblings. His mother struggles so much to make ends meet. While at school he is never visited, lacks basic things to use.

 

AINEMBABAZI BRIDGET

Bridget is a beautiful young girl in primary three at wells of hope academy. She comes from Kanungu district in western Uganda. She is quiet and very well composed; she is being taken care of by her paternal uncle. Her father was rearrested leaving her mother pregnant. The mother is a prisons officer who remarried after the arrest of the father leaving the child in the care of her paternal relatives. Her father is one of the inmates supported in Luzira upper prison.

Edmund is a bright eyed 8 year old boy attending Wells of Hope Academy. He enjoys school and is well behaved. He loves to joke around with his peers and make people laugh. His energy is contagious.

Edmund’s father is an inmate at Luzira prison. His mother has passed away. The grandmother he previously lived with passed away recently. He is now living with his opposite grandmother in a one room home. His brother, Andrew, lives with him along with some of his grandmother’s other grandchildren, and his great grandmother who’s health is poor. His grandmother struggles to find income generating activities to support the large family and pay for Edmund’s medication for his HIV and schooling. Your sponsorship will help Edmund continue to attend Wells of Hope Academy, receive medical treatment and provide food to keep Edmund a healthy growing boy.
