Education Support

Wells of Hope Schol for Children of Prisoners : We are in the Process of starting a school for the children of prisoners who are under our care and those who will come as year go by.

We have located premises in Naluvule,Wakiso which we will be renting, we have the staff and we should be ready to start in February 2010, however, we have a lot of handicaps. We are very limited resources, as an urgency we need 40 triple Decker beds, 40 classroom Desks, 30 basins, 120 plates, 120 cups, 120 mattresses, 120 mosquito nets, 4 big sauce pans, 6 black boards . We have funds to cater for staff and renting but we cannot afford those items mentioned.At this school,the first of this kind in this country,We will also need people to support us to feed the children.If you are led to provide please see our proposal and budget

You Can also help us stop suffering ,by donating used items, these may include, Saucepans ,Plates, Clothes especially for children, shoes, computers, books and Bibles

HELP TO STOP HIV
Because children of prisoners are at risk of contracting the deadly HIV/AIDS, there is a need to protect them.
Funds are needed to carry out sensitization and support for those who are already sick and lack care.

Make a donation to change Lives Today

$20 monthly gift can provide tuition, lunch, school uniform and pair of shoes per year, and medical assistance when needed for a prisoner's child.

$50 per month can help sponsor a child of a prisoner who is in college.

$120 a year could help set up an income generating project that help create wealth for one grand mother or caretaker caring for a prisoner's child.We have 60 caretakers so far.

$300 a month could help feed 500 prisoners living with HIV/AIDS, it would provide food supplements which include high protein maize floor, sugar and sardine fish.

$3500 a year could teach prisoners, prisoner's spouses and prisoners children about HIV and AIDS

OTHER NEEDS
* Bibles, Tracts and Christian literature , (roughly 4,000 USD per year )would help us place 800 bibles and scripture materials)

* Land and building for a Resource Center and accompanying buildings to make Wells of Hope Ministries Home/Center as we continue to expand our size and scope (roughly 150,000 USD)

*Whenever we visit the prisons we donate items like Clothes, sugar,High protein maize floor.,Soap, Hygiene kit(Bathing Soap,Tooth paste,Tooth Brush ), books, sports equipment e.g balls, nets,board games.
